BlitzAPI × ZeroClick · built for agents to buy
Agentic commerce: how AI agents find, buy and use B2B data
The short answer
Agentic commerce is commerce where the buyer is an AI agent: it finds a product, reads the price, pays and uses what it bought, without a person filling in forms for it. With BlitzAPI and ZeroClick, an AI agent finds B2B data on companies, people, emails and jobs, buys it per record from a prepaid balance, and calls the API in the same run.

Software was built for humans. To buy almost any API today, someone creates an account, picks a plan, adds seats and types a card number into a checkout page. That works when the buyer is a person. It stops working when the buyer is an AI agent in the middle of a task.
That is why BlitzAPI partnered with ZeroClick. An AI agent can now buy B2B data on its own: discover BlitzAPI, understand the data, see the price, pay, and keep moving. This guide explains what that changes, what an agent can do with it and what it costs, with the same examples as the video.
What is agentic commerce?
Agentic commerce is what happens when the customer is software. An AI agent gets a task from a person, finds the product that can complete it, reads the price, pays and uses what it bought, in the same run. The person sets the task, the budget and the rules; the agent does the steps.
- Definition Agentic commerce also called agent-led commerce
- Buying and selling where the buyer is an AI agent: it finds a product, reads the price, pays and uses what it bought, without a person filling in forms on its behalf.
PreciselyAgentic commerce is commerce in which a software agent carries out the steps of a purchase, from discovery and evaluation to payment and delivery, through interfaces built for machines: a storefront it can read, prices published as data, and a payment it can complete, by card token or through protocols such as x402 and MPP.
Most software isn’t sold that way yet. Every step of a classic purchase assumes a person at the keyboard: an account to create, a plan to pick, seats to add, a card to type. An agent can read documentation and call an API, but a sign-up form or a checkout page stops it, and the task waits for a human.

An AI agent tries to buy data
Stops here. Buying the data still needs a person.
Why do AI agents need to buy data on their own?
Because agents are becoming users, and users become buyers. When an agent that prospects for a sales team needs twenty decision makers and their emails, the data is one call away. The purchase should not be a ticket to a human.
BlitzAPI was already built for agents to use. Its data (contacts, companies, emails and job postings, 1B+ records) is exposed as building blocks an agent can combine however it wants: the REST API, an MCP server that gives AI coding tools the live documentation, and Agent Skills, ready-to-run GTM playbooks for coding agents. The BlitzAPI developer page lists all three. One thing was still designed for people.
There was just one thing still designed for humans: buying the data.
How does an AI agent buy B2B data with ZeroClick?
Through an agent storefront. ZeroClick turns an API into something an agent can buy: it hosts a storefront the agent can read, publishes the prices as data, takes the payment and forwards each paid call to the seller’s API. The BlitzAPI storefront lives at agents.blitz-api.ai.
- Definition Agent storefront
- A shop written for AI agents rather than for people: what a seller offers, what each call costs and how to pay, in files an agent can read.
PreciselyAn agent storefront is a machine-readable entry point to a seller's catalog: an llms.txt index, a catalog with live prices, an OpenAPI description and a buyer skill. The BlitzAPI storefront runs on ZeroClick, at agents.blitz-api.ai.
On it, an agent runs five steps, in one go:
- Discover. It finds the storefront, from a pointer on the BlitzAPI website or through its llms.txt, and reads what BlitzAPI sells.
- Understand. It reads the catalog (company search and enrichment, people search, people enrichment with verified work emails, job search), the API reference and a buyer skill. None of it needs a login.
- See the price. Each record returned costs $0.001. A call that finds nothing costs nothing.
- Pay. It registers its own credential, free and without an email, then buys a prepaid balance, from $0.50. The storefront answers the purchase with an HTTP 402, a payment request with the amount in it, which the agent settles by card.
- Keep moving. It calls the API with its credential. Each record comes off the balance, and the agent tops it up when it runs low.

- 5Keep movingHTTP200 OK20 people20 verified emails−$0.04 from the balanceCalls the API. Each record comes off the balance.
No account to create. No bundle to commit to.The agent keeps moving.
Who pays, in the end? The person or the company behind the agent. An agent pays with a payment method its person allowed it to use, such as a Link pay token, or hands that person a checkout link. Either way, nobody creates a BlitzAPI account for it, and no subscription renews behind its back. Today the BlitzAPI storefront takes cards; the ZeroClick network also supports the x402 and MPP protocols, for agents that pay from a wallet.
What can AI agents do with B2B data?
Whatever a go-to-market task needs, assembled from the same blocks. An agent can brief you on an account before a call, find the decision makers at a list of companies, refresh your CRM or watch what your accounts are hiring for.
“Before my call with this company, tell me who they are, who runs sales and what they are hiring for.”
- Company Enrichment1 company resolved
- People Search10 people returned
- Job Search25 job postings returned
Billed36 records
“Find 20 heads of marketing at software companies in France, with their work emails.”
- People Search20 people returned
- Find Work Email20 verified emails found
Billed40 records
“Every Monday, list the roles my 500 target accounts started hiring for.”
- Job Search5,000 job postings returned
Billed per run5,000 records
- Research an account. Company Enrichment for the profile, People Search for who runs what, Jobs Search for what the company is hiring for.
- Find the right people. People Search across many companies at once, or Waterfall ICP for the best available decision maker in each one, as the decision makers guide explains.
- Reach them. Email Enrichment returns the verified work email of a profile; an address that can’t be proven comes back Not Found instead of a guess.
- Size and refresh a market. Company Search builds the account list and sizes it; the same calls, run every month, keep the list current.
What does an AI agent pay for B2B data?
On the BlitzAPI storefront, $0.001 per record the API returns, from a prepaid balance. A record is one item: a company, a person, a verified email or a job posting. A call that finds nothing costs nothing.
The video puts it in numbers. One thousand records cost one dollar. A task that needs twenty buyers and twenty emails is 40 records: a few cents ($0.04). For a one-off task like that, the agent still prepays the minimum top-up, $0.50, and what it doesn’t use stays on its balance for the next task.
Teams with steady volume buy the same data another way: a monthly plan. BlitzAPI plans start at $99 a month with Start and $499 with Scale, with an API key, a rate limit per endpoint and a fair use policy; Build Your Infra is scoped on a call. Same data layer, different way to buy it.

Prices read on the BlitzAPI agent storefront on October 15, 2026, and on the pricing page. An agent pays only for what a call finds, so each figure is the most a task can cost. Plans add what the storefront does not sell, such as US phone numbers. The tasks are examples.
When should an agent move from pay as you go to a plan?
When the volume becomes monthly, and large. Pay as you go costs less than Start up to 99,000 records a month. From there, Start’s flat price is lower, up to the 200,000 records a month its fair use policy covers. Above that, compare pay as you go with Scale, which costs less from 499,000 records a month and covers up to 5,000,000. Beyond that, Build Your Infra sets the volume with you.
Price is not the only difference. A plan adds what the storefront doesn’t sell, such as US phone numbers, along with support and one workspace for your team. And a team can try the API first: every account starts with 1,000 free records, no card.
Show the answer key
- A monthly plan, because it needs an account first.That is how software sold to people works. On the storefront, the agent registers its own credential and pays only for what it gets back.
- 40 records: 20 people and 20 emails, taken from its prepaid balance.Each person returned and each verified email found is one record, priced the same. The agent prepays a small balance once, and the task draws on it.
- 20 records: the emails come free with the people.A verified email is a record of its own. What costs nothing is a call that finds nothing.
What makes an API ready for agentic commerce?
Three things, the ones the film ends on. Agents have to find the product, pay for it without a form, and keep using it as the volume grows.
- Discoverable by AI
- An llms.txt on the website and on the storefront
- Docs in Markdown, and an MCP server for AI tools
- A catalog and an OpenAPI description to read
- Payable by AI
- Prices published as data, per record
- A credential the agent registers itself
- An HTTP 402 it settles by card
- Scalable for AI
- A call that finds nothing costs nothing
- A balance it tops up when it runs low
- A monthly plan when the volume settles in
Blitz was already built for agents to use.Now it’s built for agents to buy.
For builders
Everything above runs through the storefront. This part is for the people who wire agents: where an agent starts, what the catalog says, and how a team calls the same data with an API key.
How does an agent call BlitzAPI through ZeroClick?
An agent needs no SDK and no BlitzAPI account. It starts from the storefront’s index and follows it:
# What BlitzAPI sells, how to pay, and where the reference is
curl https://agents.blitz-api.ai/llms.txtThe index links the catalog (manifest.json), the OpenAPI description, a buyer skill and the payment guide. The catalog gives one price per meter, and a meter counts what a call returns. On October 15, 2026, it read, trimmed to four meters and two fields:
{
"name": "Credits",
"billingMode": "credit",
"minimumPurchaseUsd": "0.500000",
"prices": [
{ "unit": "person returned", "priceUsd": "0.001000" },
{ "unit": "verified work email found", "priceUsd": "0.001000" },
{ "unit": "company returned", "priceUsd": "0.001000" },
{ "unit": "job posting returned", "priceUsd": "0.001000" }
]
}From there, the documented path is short:
- Register a free agent credential (no email needed to start).
- Buy the Credits plan,
POST /plans/{planId}/purchase, and settle the priced402by card. - Call the operation with
Authorization: Bearer <token>. The paths are the API’s own, such asPOST /v2/search/peopleorPOST /v2/enrichment/email.
A call without a credential answers 401, and a credential without a balance answers 403 plan_required. Prices live in the catalog: an agent reads them when it buys, rather than keeping a copy.
How does a team call the same data?
With an API key, on a plan, against the same endpoints: People Search, Email Enrichment, Company Enrichment and the rest, documented at docs.blitz-api.ai. Every account starts with 1,000 free records, no card.
And if you sell an API yourself, the same path is open: ZeroClick’s documentation explains how a seller connects an existing API and publishes its own agent storefront.
